Information Operations: marketing war
http://www.army.mil/professionalwriting/volumes/volume3/october_2005/10_05_1.html

We are definitely through the looking glass with this article. In my estimation the U.S. military has spent more on the Iraq war trying to convince the American people of it's merits and accomplishments. They have been targeting U.S. citizens with propaganda which means the military has been conducting activities on U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. We have indeed seen the enemy and it is us.

{snip}
Americans view propaganda negatively because past enemies such as Nazi Germany, North Vietnam, Imperial Japan, and the Soviet Union used it.

Yeah riiiiiiight... no propaganda has been issued from our government aimed at U.S. citizens.
