2006 Blue Awards - Looking for Advice

Hi everybody!

As my DU name states, I am part of the 2006 Blue Awards. We are offering awards in 40 different categories for liberal and democratic achievements.

Although there has been a lot of brainstorming as to what awards we should offer, we would like your input if you think we have missed any. Any ideas you have would be greatly appreciated.

Also, because this is our inaugural year, we have not yet designed a trophy. We have some ideas in mind, but if you would like to offer your two cents on what it should look like, go for it!

Currently, we have many politicians, local and state party chairs, activists and others on our Guild (the voting body of the Blue Awards), but we are still looking for more. If you are interested, please go to www.blueawards.com/guild.htm and fill out an application. Membership doesn't require much time, only discussing the nominees at your leisure on a private message board with other members.
