The United States of America is 'intellectualizing' torture. |
|
I am stunned, after what I was taught about MY country through my entire education, that our nation is 'discussing' on a daily basis whether we should torture people or not. I am personally ashamed that our VICE president is lobbying to allow an 'intelligence' agency (CIA) to be exempt from torture laws. That our 'administration' is negotiating with Congress to amend the McCain bill on torture. This is indefensible in the eyes of this humanitarian. Shame is too kind of word for what I feel about our current White House Criminals.....and tell me please, why did we depose Saddam Hussein????????

2. I wouldn't call it anything with the root word "intellect" in it... |

but apparently, some writer or pundit has.
These people should be ashamed, not only of their stance, but because of the fact that studies show torture does not provide reliable info. Their own studies, for crying out loud!
Their supporters are the type who like to tear the wings off butterflies, kick dogs, and other disgusting passtimes as they while away the hours masturbating in Mom's basement at the age of 40, IMO.
