What would you eat for your last meal? And do they really give you what |
|
you order? What if you want a box of chocolate cherries, the kind with the white stuff in em, not just the runny junk?

23. The origin of that custom. |
|
Many inmates don't go calmly to their deaths. Some go kicking, fighting, screaming, crying, etc. To make things easier on the guards, the prisoners were heavily sedated. The last meal was laced with sedatives. Of course, if the prisoner gets to eat what he wants for his last meal, then he is more likely to be well sedated.
Nowdays, the sedative is usually optional.

If I were to be executed at midnight, I'd want a bowl of stewed prunes, a bowl of bran cereal and a glass of milk about 4PM.
I get really nervous under stress and I am sure my gurgling belly, along with the lactose intolerance would be a spectacle going out. I'd be creating a gas chamber in addition to the lethal injection. I dare the medics to stay in the room with me.
The last words I want them to say are "dayum, ... full of $#!+!"
