1. How about a daily "Happy Hour" from say 3PM EST to 4PM EST?
That shoudl give maximum coverage for US DUers and might actually be fun to do. Tough to enforce though :)

2. No! That's the worst idea I've ever heard of--the absolute worst!
Do you have rocks for brains? Besides, there are no negative threads here!!!!!

;-)

Seriously, doubt it can be done. How about just a thread itself where someone posts nice stuff on a certain day?

4. Back in the early part of this century, a newspaper that only published
positive stories was launched. It didn't last long at all. Same basic principle here. P{ositive threads get ignored, flame wars get hundreds of posts.

the negative and the positive are both required in order to advance the human condition. Identification and demolition of that which is defective is required before replacement with something better can succeed. Don't get caught in the positive/negative, optimist/pessimist dichotomy, which along with others was given affective power during the social engineering experiments started under Bush I. Polarist thinking is a broadsword (and a trap set by the ignorami) as reasoning is a scalpel; be precise.
