a having town meetings, every month. There are a lot of people who do not know what is going on in this country because they don't have cable and thats all they see are sound bites. There were alot of people who watched the debates . Its time to wake the people up before all of our liberties are gone. Bush counts on the fact that most people don't realize what he and his crew are doing. They are slowly taking away our rights and claiming that its for our own good.

I can't afford cable, and the only news i catch, is the evening news via the nbc/abc/cbs news programs. DU keeps me informed big time...:)

a lot of people just believe the terroist are coming to get us and they don't know the facts. When bush keeps saying that they believe it and he says 911 he knows they believe that garbage. Thats why I say they need some town meetings on regular tv, so real people can talk about the details behind the bushit.

That people are working, sometimes two jobs, have kids, got families to worry about...Politics is hardly ever in their radar because they have so many other things involved with maintaing their livelihood.
I believe its a factor,some of the people i talk to who have no "idea" whats going on out there (politics) usually say that they don't have the time to keep up on it, or their issues are more important...
