Maybe we should just start calling him President Nixon. |
|
Y'know. Call a spade a spade.

he's outdone Nixon, as has his apparatus.
Time to call him something really appropriate.........Mussolini, perhaps........

8. My reasoning is that "Nixon" would resonate with the American people. |
|
I suspect a lot don't know who Mussolini was.
I'm only half-joking, by the way, about calling him Nixon. He should at least be compared to Nixon at every opportunity, the same way george kept linking Iraq and 9/11.

4. No. At least, Nixon had some positives in his administration. |
|
Joe McCarthy might be more apt.

9. You're probably right, but I don't think Nixon is recalled very fondly. |

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, but george didn't care, and look what the constant linking did to public opinion.

12. I was on the phone with my older sister today talking about |
|
yesterday's revelations. I said to my sister, "ya know I never thought I'd say this, but this moron makes me long for Nixon" My sister replied laughing, "Good Lord, I'll have to go to the cemetery tomorrow and make sure Daddy hasn't done a "rotor rooter man".
My Dad despised Richard M. Nixon, but if he was alive today and saw the cretin that inhabits 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. now, I'm sure he'd agree, * is much, much worse than Nixon.
GWB is an obscenity, pure and simple. He doesn't give a shit about the Constitution or the troops in Iraq, the homeless people on the Gulf Coast. It's all about what he wants. Selfish bastard.
