"Not The Main Story Of The Day"

So, I was taking time to read the transcript of Idiot Son's interview with Jim Leher from Friday.

And we all know that he refused to answer the spy question (which he subsequently admitted to yesterday).

Anyway, here's the line that really intrigued me. In reference to the spy story, Bush told Leher "It's not the main story of the day."

So let me see if I got this straight.

One of the first things that Idiot Son's staffers were told after he stole the WH, was that he's not an avid reader...so try to keep briefs to like one page.

And we know that Dan Barlett had to make him a freakin DVD of the nightly newscasts about Katrina, in order to show him the reality of what was happening on the ground in New Orleans.

And he's going to give Jim Leher of all people, a lecture on what should be the main story of the day?
