2. Well said, listen to the media at your own risk take nothing they say
or print as the only truth. Their purpose is the sell news.

3. 'Used to be that Journalists wanted to get the truth out at any cost.
Now, it is more profitable to drag a story out as much as possible. You do that by pandering and asking easy to answer questions. The media doesn't want the truth anymore. It's too short lived and unprofitable.

5. These questions aren't that bad - especially Martha Radditz's - but
his answers are terrible and there's little or no followup.

I just wish the press would quit responding to his lame-ass "jokes" with laughter. That's just wrong in a professional relationship and it breaks up the ryhthm of their questions. It defangs the press - - which is what he's after.

7. Follow-up is everything
he is justiying that 9/11 might have been prevented by this program

the question that begs is why did he IGNORE THE AUGUST 6th PDB, and the other warnings?

In addition, he keeps bringing up bin laden and 9/11, WHY IRAQ!!!!!!!

11. Not to mention the fact that the phone calls Bin Laden was making
were NOT with US Citizens! And that's the issue here, not foreign eavesdropping.

That boy has one confused, muddled-up mind.

10. They all know what's in bounds and what is out of bounds
And business interests define those boundaries. Political diversity needs to be institutionalized within a robust public media system.
The behavior of these journalists is rational within the system we have. We need systemic change.
