What groups are calling for boycott of stores that do say Merry Christmas?
Just wondering. After all, based on what the fundies are saying, there is this massive liberal secular push to eliminate Christmas far stronger than anything they're doing. By that logic, there must be plenty of groups calling for that. After all, they're doing their own boycotts and one is even boycotting Target simiply because they didn't mention Christmas enough in their advertising, as there is some sort of quota apparentely. Then there must be plenty of groups calling for boycotts of stores that heavily focus on Christmas in their advertising right? Hmmm, I haven't heard of any.

Oh wait, once again the fundies are creating a silly strawman and making a big deal about absolutely nothing just sot hey can keep playing up the delusional myth that somehow Christians are persecuted in America and there is some massive movement to elimate all mentions of religion in America and create some sort of imposed atheist state a la the Soviet Union. If that's true these secular extremists sure must've been quiet lately, because I haven't heard crap of anyone demanding Christmas not be mentioned despite all the fundies' bellyaching.

1. I think this is one of the stupidest things I've heard in a long time
but if they want to boycott a store for this ridiculous reason, who am I to object. (I have trouble seeing this going very far, Herr O'Reilly notwithstanding.)

4. Speaking of boycotting Target
There's a better reason - They allow their pharmacists to refuse to fill emergency contraception prescriptions.

I've always thought of Target as the 'good guys', because they supported arts organizations, and got involved locally. I'm really sad behind this, cause I like their stores and they seem to treat their employees like human beings. (Though I may be wrong)
