TWO US Army Supply Convoys Attacked and Burned in Baghdad. Story Buried
Edited on Tue Dec-20-05 12:41 PM by leftchick
It took forever for me to find this story buried here after seeing all of these photos on Yahoo. Cripes the US still can not protect the convoys....

1. How many is several?
This probably happens frequently, we just don't hear about it.
I'm expecting to see a big uptick in the coming weeks as the shia discover that they're in control.

3. One possible reason for the Pentagon burying this story .....

Just speculation on my part, but .....

Female GI's often work in Supply and Support functions and they often go on supply missions. The Pentagon is particularly sensitive about stories regarding American female casualties or females being captured (remember Jessica Lynch?). Could it be there were some female casualties on these supply convoys that we were not supposed to know about?
