There's a word I sometimes have trouble with when using it on this forum
and I honestly think it gives the Repukes a big advantage when it comes to semantics. It's the word "right". I have a problem when it comes to expressing certain thoughts when it comes to the use of that word.

For example, I have a problem posting something like the following: "While some might disagree with what you did as being productive to our cause, I personally think what you did was right." It's almost like I want to explain by "right" I mean "left."....like I don't mean "right" as in "right wing".

Damn it, why do Repukes get to associate themselves with a word that has two very different meanings, one of them meaning to be "correct" or "proper"? No wonder so many imbeciles in this country think that Democrats are wrong if they always hear that Republicans are right!

Isn't there anything we can do about this? The word left just doesn't have the same pull as the word right. Not fair!

does that have more pull.

4. Just remember...left is right and right is wrong!
There, does that clear it all up for you? Yeah, me neither.

6. Just substitute "Correct" or "Appropriate", whichever seems to fit best
:) I feel much the same way you do, but only around this board. Somehow, when I'm out in the world, saying "right" doesn't carry the same weight.

Anyhow, there's nothing we can do about it. It gets worse with the Latin root "sinistr-", source of the English word sinister - on the left side, unlucky, inauspicious.

8. You're right, um, correct.
I often find myself typing the word "right," backspacing, and changing it to "correct," or "accurate."

Unless the words "wing wacko" follow the word "right," I have trouble using it.

Also, I call the things in front of my house "peace plants," to avoid insulting them.

9. I have the same problem :)
More and more often, I find myself using "proper" "correct" "accurate" instead of "right."

:)
