Bin Laden still priority, Rummy says
Oh. That's good to know. That means at least six billion a month and one hundred forty thousand troops looking for him, right?

Read about Rummy's huge concern over Osama.

Rummy: "I have trouble believing that he's able to operate sufficiently to be in a position of major command over a worldwide al Qaeda operation, but I could be wrong. We just don't know."

Earlier, Rumsfeld said he had authorized a reduction of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, where bin Laden is believed to be hiding, from 19,000 to 16,000, largely because of an increase in NATO troops there.

The secretary did not appear concerned about an increase in activity by Taliban fighters along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

"The levels of violence and incidents fluctuate over the past several years," he said.

"They tend to go up over key political periods. They tend to go up prior to the beginning of winter. And they tend to go up after the winter period ends. They also tend to go up as a result coalition activity against them."

2. Rumsfeld
My feelings toward GWB would warm to at least the icy indifference stage if he would just fire this incompetent hack. He's so incompetent that GWB had to hand the reconstruction in Iraq back to Condi.

3. He is a priority

Unfortunately it's about number 18,345 on the list.

Oh well, Rummy will get to him eventually ...

4. Dont know
Wasn't the ability to know part of the reason they are illegally wire tapping us? It's 2005 you've had 4+ years to find out. If you don't know then you suck at your job.
