Would * fall on his sword for his corporate masters' (PNAC) protection?
Or is he too wrapped up in his own invincibility to consider such a move?

(get your tin foil hats ready here...)

Just supposing that * was told to admit to the eavesdropping and to actively try to defend it so those who would oppose him would have an "easy" case for impeachment. Those who would wish him out of office get their way, and quit the pursuit of all his other crimes against our country, thereby taking the heat (via investigations ongoing and planned) off his corporate masters and the minds behind PNAC and it's empire building plans.

(OK, so I'm bored today, but it's a thought.)

Hammies!

1. Also..
.. couldn't the egregious arrogance be due to corporate backing
of the Reeps.

It's clear that BushInc is not playing to a people's country, and the
audience of the speeches is clearly not the people.

6. But a sweet payoff...
would be in his best interest, wouldn't it? Certainly they can afford to pay him far mre than a mere pResidency would.

Another thing I think of is how long are his handlers going to have to keep him under wraps and control after he's out of office...you know he can't be placed into a non-controlled situation where folks ask real questions, so his corporate masters are gonna have to keep him prepped and able to answer for a long time to come.

This just could be the political version of the "golden parachute" his business exec buddies seem to think they deserve.

8. This crack head was born with a platinum, spoon up his nose,.
He actually believes GOD chose him to be in charge of the USA to lead a holy crusade against the infidels. In Short the Idiot Chimp believes his face belongs on Mt. Rushmore not on a Ten Most Wanted poster. After his reign of terror is over the Idiot Bush will either be in jail or exiled to a safe environment where he can not harm himself or others. You know like the Fed. Facility in Joliet for the criminally insane.

7. He's a TOTAL tool. He knows nothing but what he's told to say.
He's completely managed ... and will NEVER be an "ex-President." He has sunshine blown up his butt constantly. He lives an an alternate reality - more contrived than the Truman Show. It's the Dubya World.

...I don't think his masters are willing to take that chance. Hence the NSA leak.
