He's a dink. Why not give Nader a show? :eyes:
Nothing like blaming the victim. "Al Gore wimp/coward/chicken/freak" - "you knew they stole the election and you did nothing about it." Puleeze Malloy, where's YOUR PROOF!? To insinuate Kerry and Gore KNEW the election was stolen (with in days) and did nothing about it is ludicrous. One can't gather evidence of such a crime (overnight and beyond) if there are no friggen paper ballots. Further, Mikey must have forgot about the chad thing down in Florida? Gore did fight, the SCOTUS handed Bush the nomination, along with perpetual malcontents who liken Democrats to Republicans, like - Mr. Malloy.

The leader said to hell with that, the people are with me, and we know we are right!
Of course that wouldn't fly here because that would mean people having to come out of their houses for political reasons (and I'm talking millions in several cities here people), which is rare in the US.

Mike attempting to justify his support of Nader in election 2000 - by vilifying Al Gore. Sure, Al Gore could have done what Boxer did in 2004, unfortunately - the end result would have been the same - futile and forgotten. I notice that Mike fails to mention Boxer, Conyers and many other Democrats who fight their ass off every day in his rants.

35. It had to be awkward as Hell for Gore, as VP to preside over that session. |
|
...of course, standing up for himself, or even allowing the CBC to fully speak their minds would have been considered "grandstanding" or whatever. But at that point, he had nothing to lose and should have let them speak until they were out of breath.
What really pissed me off about that scene, and to this day, is that not ONE single fucking senator stood with the CBC on behalf of not just Al Gore, but this fucking country. Where were the so called "heroes" like Kerry & Edwards that day? Even more troubling, why did the actual LIBERALS remain silent? For as much as Barbara Boxer and Russ Feingold are loved on this board, where the fuck were they on that dark day in history?

No special talent there. Same shit, new day. Bush is on the ropes for one thing or other, and idiots like Malloy start throwing rocks at the Dems instead of Bush. Over and over again. Maybe because it's easier to sit outside the ring then to ever actually get in and fight the Bush bastards directly. That's what takes balls, which means Malloy is the one really lacking.

They can't get focused on anything, they can't convey a coherent message. They are useless.
Tell me.
What does the Democratic party stand for? What? I'd like to know, because when people ask me, I have no idea what to say. I can tell them my opinion on things, but the democratic party as a whole is completely divided between the few good ones we have, and the corporate shills that really are republican lite.

I've caught Randi in quite a few factual lapses as well, but it's expected when you have a daily show. If it happens often or is something blatant like the Pigman (Limbaugh), then it's a problem. But most of the time, factually, they are on the exact same page.
