A: John Dean said Bush is first president to admit to an impeachable offense. Boxer asked if she could quote Dean, he said she could. She has not heard back from any of the four scholars yet.

The VP said he never heard dissent from Congress, yet we have a letter from Sen. Rockefeller opposing the wiretaps.

10. Interview over...

Boxer did a great job laying out the case for why impeachment should be considered. She had a god rapport with Alison which helped the interview go well. She repeatedly talked about checks and balances and why they are important, and how Bush has gone to great lengths to avoid them. I was duly impressed (as usual) with Boxer's performance.

Now interviewing Richard Wolfe of Newsweek who agrees that this is a political problem for Bush and not really a national security issue. They are now airing the speech from April '04 where Bush lied through his teeth.
