but if they do an extention of 3 mo. or whatever, the House will come back Thurs. to vote on the bill. Same with the other massive bills before the Senate. Otherwise, they have said good bye for 2005.

The committee that works out the differences between the house and Senate bill submits it final bill to both the house and Senate.
The house approved it in it's final form. That's why they adjourned. The Senate basically killed it unless they can vote to approve before 12/31
