4. Vote and if you don't get what you want vote again |
|
Can we have a revote for the Presidential election. I think that would be fair.

6. I think when he "enters" the motion to reconsider... |
|
...it allows him to call it anytime in the next few days. I don't think they will actually vote on it right now.

over a few drops of oil. Shame on them. Let the poor and homeless suffer to fatten the wallets of the oil barons. Shame on the Cons.

8. Can someone explain the context? |
|
My brain is like an echasketch. I lie down at night, and everything I read the day before is erased.
Defense bill, ANWR, NOLA. I know what's in the bill. But I don't recall why the vote is so important.
Can someone sum up the ramifications of this vote for me?

10. GOP tied ANWR, Hurricane Relief, and funds for low-income |
|
heating assistance to a bill they *knew* would fly through...
And now it hasn't - because, in part, not only did they tie ANWR and Hurricane Relief up in this bill they added funds for low-income heating assistance & a bill to prevent companies that produce bad vaccines from being suied at the last minute - this is *against* Senate rules.
They should pull apart these issues and vote on them 1 by 1: Defense Appropriations Hurrine Relief (without funds tied to ANWR profits) ANWR Low-income heating assistance
The SOB's tie them together as power ploy...

11. How did I forget! Thank you. |

I guess it was too obvious. I'm getting used to scandalous behaviour.
Phew.
