Edited on Wed Dec-21-05 05:43 PM by mopaul
at first i wanted to gloat after looking at today's msnbc poll about impeachment, 88% in favor at last count, but this is really cause for grave concern, just think about it.

1. Uh . . . not to worry . . .
Any articles of impeachment on this issue would of necessity include VP for Torture Dickless Cheney.

And Hastert would be hamstrung if he ascended to the presidency (Hastert is Speaker, ain't he?)

11. my prediction still stands

a "dirty bomb" at LAX. Possibly traced to missing nuclear material from Iraq. The "terrerists from Al kaydy and
Saddama bin Laden are out to kill us!!!".

When they feel trapped... that's when this shit will come down.

14. San Francisco would be their choice.
Knock out a bunch of progressives and homosexuals in one fell swoop.

8. Well that's a cold bucket of water . . .
But I think that 9/11 Mark II would be Katrina writ large, the message being: BUSH CAN'T KEEP YOU SAFE.

Not much comfort to any victims . . .

So -- what'll they pull this time? Dirty bomb in Puget Sound? Suicide bombers in the malls on Christmas Eve? Attack on a chemical plant conveniently close to residences?

18. He'd be next in line
Unless we take back the House first. And impeachment won't go forward unless we do take back the House. Would Harry Reid become the next in line if that happened? I kinda like that idea!

5. Yeah, but it's still good news.
Now that he has a real mandate from the people, maybe we can still get him before he really does do something stupid like nuke us and blame it on someone else.

Congress are you up to the task? Apparently the people are speaking.

6. I Think We''ve Discussed This Before
And if not please hear me for just a moment.

If bush was tossed out into the stree soon we would not be without a President of course. Somewhere succession would take hold (who knows how long Cheney would last or even if he might not have gone first) and someone would be sworn in. Whoever that poor person was I am sure history would have this to say about him. He was the lamest duck ever seen.

And would that be such a bad thing?

Maybe its time for this country to sit its hyperactive ass down for a couple of years and cool off.

the freeps usually don't let a poll tilt away from them that drastically.

21. Piffle. With the patriot act fizzled, * will use that in his favor and he
will regain lots of support.

The future is obvious. And damn right I'm scared; his inactions cost too many lives on 9/11, never mind Katrina...

I would like to see a "scientific" poll on impeachment.
