mentality out there. She lives near New Orleans and knows many people think of Southerners as "staunchly red-Bush supporters".

But at the DCP where that post originated there is no little tab to show when a person is using sarcasm, but everyone there knows this person and just KNOWS she's sarcastic and funny and dedicated too.

Actually, I don't know if Kos has those little sarcasm tags either.

Those tags can really help show the intent of a statement.

But the author is not saying you're stupid; she's saying that even the staunchest Bush supporter KNOWS the truth about warrentless spying.

But this person is always trying to get the progressives and Democrats to come down south and to win the south back.

She tells us all the amazing stuff that happens when she posts her progressive message and anti-Bush message.

She talks a lot about the Democrats needing to bring HOPE to the south and by avoiding it, they let the Republicans spin their own message.

And as far as myself, though I live in the cold north, my heart is in Dixie! (Especially at this time of year!) But I have relatives in GA, TN, TX, LA, and a terrific friend in MS.

Way to go. I know in the state of GA, though, taping conversations of which you are a part is NOT illegal, even if the other party doesn't know it. The thought is, there is no expectation of privacy if you are saying it to a person who is taping it.

I don't know about "interstate" from state to DC or LA law, but one MIGHT be able to tape such calls. Don't know.
