Poll question: History will be the judge...... |
|
How many years do you think it will be before history (and therefore textbooks) will judge this administration as THE worst in our history?
We all know it will happen, and we're one of the first in our short existence to be fully aware of our place in history. But will the media be able to hide the full extent of the shit this cabal has done for a long time? Will the shit hit the fan sooner or later?

3. The books will start as a trickle in late 2007 . . . |
|
. . . (presuming Schimpanski is still in office then) and turn into a flood shortly after they carry him, kicking and screaming, from the West Wing (presuming the coup hasn't kicked in, President-elect Al Franken not been arrested, and martial law not been declared).
Most of this first wave will be self-serving journalibabble and other chaff. Serious historians (or their grad students) will begin to produce a steady series of damning texts by the 2008-2009 academic year. Each will fall like a spadeful of earth on the coffin of the Bush Administration's reputation.
By 2015, the whole world will know that Bush was America's WORST.PRESIDENT.EVER.
And then another white teenage cheerleader will disappear (probably in a vintage Bronco being driven by a highly disturbed former football player), and everyone will forget the whole thing.

8. I'm really hoping it will be sooner, |
|
rather than later. As most of us are already aware, this cabal has gotten away with so much, and even now, we cannot fully comprehend the ramifications of their deeds. To keep us from having to deal with this again in our government, we will need to enact more safeguards to keep any party from having too much control, i.e., power in all three branches of government. And I say that knowing that we might be the power ourselves come 2008--there are flaws in our side as well, and I believe that we should be tempered to some extent. The old saying, "Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely" echoes in my mind as a prime example of how much we really DO need to corral the reins of influence.
If we can fully judge GWB and his madministration within a decade, our history books can accurately reflect the horror we have faced in these very dark ages. Until that is all out in the open, however, 49% of this country will continue to live blissfully ignorant.
