Check out this MSNBC Poll on whether * should be impeached!
LOL! I put my vote in (yes) and roared when I saw the answers....

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10562904/

On edit: I think even the friggin freepers, if they tried to slam this poll all night long couldn't change it...I think even the most Conservative "true Republicans" who have long believed in keeping Gov't out of their private life are horrified at the prospect of the Gov't spying on them. And even those that love Bush, realize that if this is allowed to stand, it means a future Democrat could do the same...

They may be fun to vote on but they are easily manipulated and therefore have no true meaning and the news show rarely use them for that reason

15. The one thing politicians know how to do...
Edited on Wed Dec-21-05 10:41 PM by C_U_L8R
is read polls.

Granted .. this is not a statistically valid poll (being a self-selecting online poll)
but from what I've seen... It is a pretty good indicator of the public consensus.
We'll see in a week or two... as real polling samples are compiled and analyzed.

But if this online poll is any indication... we will see republicans
burning Bush at the stake in sacrifice to public opinion.

Please pass the kindling and the kerosene.

the views on Bush's wiretapping and spying without a warrant on some conservative radio stations live online poll and the numbers were similar. Meanwhile, out of curiousity, I looked at their "recent poll results" for other polls, and it was the typical right wing responses on topics where the vote swung the other way.

In fact, here it is - on a Fox News Radio Station:

My feeling is that the American people, regardless of party affiliation are united on this one...this is where we become Americans, not Dems or Republicans....

26. Note the form of the poll...
I believe when you put one selection for yes, two for no, and one for undecided, it would seem the poll was written to skew a certain way.

31. Precisely why this poll is so damning and powerful!
They gave an automatic advantage to someone wanting to answer No and not going for the full Yes. The fact that people still are voting overwhelmingly Yes, not even "don't know" is very telling indeed.

32. Democrat need a National Strategy for Victory!
The Republican/Rove Political Machine is out in force now attacking the Liberals/Democrats for not loving America.

They are saying the Democratic Party does not want to protect America from the terrorists because they are against renewing the Patriot Act, and they are against Our President protecting us from Alkeda by denying him of his Constitutional Right to wiretap our enemies while other Presidents have had that right-- they hate Our Dear Leader Bush more than they want to protect America.

This Political Machine was successful in 2002 in portraying Democrats as soft on National Security and the Democrats lost the Senate.

There has to be a nationwide effort by all Democrats to come together and come up with a Democratic Party Manifesto to combat these lies. This has be agreed to by all whether conservative, moderate or liberal.

We cannot let them keep on fooling the American People, who only want to feel secure, into believing that only Republicans can protect them from the Evil out there and that all Democrats hate America!
