Maybe there is someone out there who knows the answer to this.
I have a good friend who lives in Australia, and we talk every
couple weeks.

About a year ago, I noticed that the caller ID would often say the
incoming call was from Florida. Are international calls routed through
different American cities like that, or is it more likely we have company?

I do know one thing. Next time she calls, if someone is listening
in, they will be getting an earful of expletives describing our
mutual feelings toward Smirk.
