2. What a stupid-ass question
We don't have to give up our privacy to catch terrorists. They make it sound as though it's an either/or issue.

3. I'll say it again, Bush dropped the ball 12 times in preventing 9/11
The information they had at hand on Al-Queda DID NOT require my giving up my privacy in the least in order for them to obtain it.

Another straw man poll from the MSM...
...typical. As if it's an either/or proposition. Sorry, but no, I'm not willing to stop believing in the US and the Constitution in order to catch "those folk". No more so than I'm willing to see everyone chipped with a device to monitor their medical condition in order to "prevent heart disease" (a far more insidious and dangerous killer than al Queda).

not have civil liberties.

What is freedom without liberty?

9. I don't like the phrasing of the question.
It should have said "with the goal of fighting terrorists," not imply that if I gave up my privacy, it would automatically help fight terrorists (it wouldn't.)

13. Bowtie Boy: Will * supporters feel the same way when Hillary is president?
Interesting to read Tucker's "blog" post just underneath the poll:

<snip>

All of which might be fine, for now. There's no evidence the NSA hurt anyone. But the principle is troubling. Do we really want to empower the president to ignore Congress, our most democratic institution? Bush's defenders aren't bothered by the idea because they trust Bush. But Bush won't be in office forever.

Will they feel the same way when Hillary is president?

<snip>

20. Do they EVER show the results of these polls?
Every day these polls show overwhelming opposition to the administrations policies, and yet MSRNC itself never cites these polls.

Why do they bother?

Trying to distract us, methinks.
