Nashville Metro Council Endorses Jesus & Xmas Trees

Last night, the Nashville Metropolitan Council passed a resolution affirming that Jesus was "an actual man." I kid you not. I think it's safe to assume that the Christian Governing Body means Jesus was a macho heterosexual white man who would be driving an SUV and living in Belle Meade, with a wife and two children, if only he were alive today.

The most sickening part of the full article is that the council also voted that, "Jesus has had a more significant impact" on the U.S. than on anywhere else in the world.

Must be an interesting statement to people in Israel/Palestine, Rome, Greece, or anywhere else "impacted" long before that religion was brought to American shores.
