Bush's Legacy
Well, to tell the truth, I don't think there will really be one.

He will be remembered as our most corrupt President of course.

He'll certainly be remembered as the laziest.

Incompetent.

But I don't think a lot will be said about him. He will fade from the public memory as fast as gray matter can self destruct. There won't be the years of paid appearances. Nothing like Habitat for Humanity of course.

It will be almost like he was never here but it will be like he never left too. The scars will be deep. The inflation, the taxes, the decrepit infrastructure. How do you repair 8 years of diplomatic blunder? How do you repair 8 years of economic plunder?

Bush's legacy.

1. Most embarrassing...most devisive....definitely most ignorant.
However, as far as his memory vanishing, I thought that Ronnie Raygun would similarly vanish - and when he passed, you would have thought that God himself was being celebrated. Don't underestimate the pride and stupidity of * followers.

2. Or, he might just be the beginning of a rebirth of the
country's reverence for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Most of us (me included) were pretty darn lackadaisical about it all before the campaigning started in 1999 and 2000 and we first saw Chimpie.

Not ever again. I am hoping we get another chance.

3. Bush will be the black hole that sucked up Reagan's star.
Unfortunately, we've had to witness the process.
