Watching CNN interviewing Cheney: Did Saddam have a 'robust'
nuclear program in 1991-1993? Please enlighten me, because I don't remember that at all.

1. Consider the source
To Cheney, crossing the street is a robust activity.

2. If I remember what Ritter said on Democracy Now!
NO! Those were the years that the inspectors were disarming him.

Cheney is full of Cheney.

4. I was listening too and I heard something in a different light
I know they have been saying that "Saddam had labs and was building weapons .. blah blah", but what I heard out of Cheney's mouth just now struck me quite differently. He said "he had weapons that he produced himself", as opposed to those that we SOLD him. Could that have been part of the problem they had with him? He wouldn't/couldn't buy any black market leftovers because he wanted to stay within the boundries of the sanctions and get them lifted? AFter all, we are supplying the equipment for the new security forces now, aren't we? Hummmmmmm.... curiouser and curiouser. No better way to make sure that your defense producing friends make some money than to create a war that needs your product to fight it and the forces that take over when that is done will need to have a few things too.

What bastages they all are!

BTW, Hi Babylonsister! :hi:

6. Yes! They are greedy bastages!
Think about it: Saddam showed an ounce of independence. And, not in the way that our press has portrayed him. He wanted those sanctions lifted because his people where hungry, sick and the infrastructure crumbling.
