1. because i am really really good at it. because you are angry at
a group of people that are blind and hurting this country doesnt mean ALL of us are doing it. there are a lot of people in all different groups, not just christians acting out of fear right now. fear leads to really poor choices.

3. I would love for Jesus to ask
* why he is in Iraq, why he doesn't help victims of tragedies that occur right here in the U.S., why he lies pathologically...the list goes on.

4. "prentand"?
not sure what that word means, but if you're asking if progressive "christians" understand Jesus Christ's teachings of forgiveness and understanding, the answer is yes.
Generally, you're only going to find liberal christians on this board.
Did you intend to aim that question at us, or the rightwing fundies?

if at them, they have been insulated, it seems, from Christ's actual words by an unending river of deception from their own leaders and republicans trying to manipulate them. Its unclear to me if they even remember what Christ was all about. At the very least, they have forgotten the lesson of "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's , and unto God what is God's" -- basically preaching (IMHO) a separation of church and state.

5. I was taught Jesus = the live person, Christ = the undead person.
the character did not become christ until after the tomb thingy.

maybe other belief systems are different in this matter.

7. Jesus never met a bush. That was Moses' burden.
Just sayin... And Jesus did have limits on his patience from what I read ;)

10. You must be more specific...
between Christians (who follow the teaching of Jesus) and Paulists Literalists who distort and/or ignore those teachings while CLAIMING the title.

The Reformation was the triumph of Paul over Peter. Fundamentalism is the triumph of Paul over Jesus.
