What is America changing into?
I've discovered that a necessary element for Democracy is Isonomy, how equal people are in a nation.

Let's say there is a nation that has X People and Y People, both number at 50%. However when they go before the government to be represented, it is as though the X People are whispering and the Y People are roaring. So, the government works better for the Y People.

Here are some real life ways Isonomy can break down.

It can break down by property and/or wealth. It'll then become a Timocracy or a Plutocracy respectively.

It can break down by race. It'll then become an Ethnocracy, in it's extreme form, it would look like the Apartheid Regime.

It can break down by religion. It'll then become a Hierocracy or an Ecclesiocracy (Just fancy names for a Theocracy).

Is our Isonomy breaking down?

If so, what will our nation become?

8. You're on the wrong track
It's really very simple.

Capitalism works provided it has a fair progressive tax system.

That has to be adjusted so that the middle 50% control at least 50% of the wealth. If the founding fathers really had any brains they would have made that the first principle of American democracy.

After that....capitalism thrives and continues to be economically vital if it continues to produce QUALITY products. If you don't understand quality...study Dr. Deming.

The quality businesses must then be spurred on by a responsible government that nutures and incentivizes these quality business intiatives.

Quality products are produced...the public appreciates those products...they become SMART CONSUMERS of those products....and the middle becomes an interatively more efficient and effective workforce.

Quality of life improves.

9. 1980's South Africa
I spent my teenage years in the mid 80's living there. We've become mid 1980's South Africa.

11. What do you think of this?
http://www.minutemanhq.com/hq/mmpledge.php

Since when did we need a bunch of white guys telling us whom can and cannot come into our country?

Oh they talk of equality on their credo, but really look through the website and all the photos. There is nothing but pictures of white people imposing their will on the rest of us.

I for one don't think they have a mandate. I think they are a vigilante militia group who have no business patrolling our borders. I think they should be arrested for enforcing laws that they have no business enforcing.
