Anyone watch

I watched it last night. It was a Christmas story set in Germany(?) during WW11. The german mother has three germans soldiers and three Americans for Christmas dinner.

I must admit to falling asleep for part of it....but the story line was interesting.

The german mother was correct.....her government had gone crazy and she felt badly that she did nothing to stop it until it was too late....sound familiar?

There is nothing good about war. I chuckled when the American stated that the germans had ruined their christmas when they invaded Poland.....and the german replied they had to take out the enemy BEFORE THEY ATTACKED GERMANY. Too many parallels for comfort this Christmas season for my liking......
