The MSM implies Powell supports what bush did
The headline:

Powell Backs Eavesdropping to Stop Terror

but if you read the article it says that court warrant should be obtained:

WASHINGTON - Former Secretary of State Colin Powell on Sunday supported government eavesdropping to prevent terrorism but said a major controversy over presidential powers could have been avoided by obtaining court warrants.

but since the headline is somewhat misleading, the impression given to the morans who don't read will be that a "so-called moderate" like Powell supports what bush did

2. Powell isn't a moderate. He's a right wing freak with no integrity.
It have no doubt that Colin Powell supports whatever Bush does. He is, and always has been an amoral sychophant who does what he's told. His rise to high levels began with his willingness to ignore war crimes going back to Vietnam and My Lai.

Fuck Colin Powell. He is an internationally known liar and fraud. He stood before the entire planet and lied in order to kill people.

4. I never said he was a moderate
that is the impression that his adoring media like to paint him, just like mccain

my only point was that they appear to be distorting something to support this administration

3. "Of course it should continue," he said. "And nobody is suggesting that
"Of course it should continue," he said. "And nobody is suggesting that the president shouldn't do this." - Powell (last line of the article)

seems to be talking out both-sides of his mouth... anyone got a transcript?

peace
