Headstart MUST be saved

This is an issue that is important to me. This program has helped millions of low income children and they must be saved. It is a shame that Bush wants to defund this successful program.

I am really angry about this a lot. I think about the time I read "Savage Inequalities" and it angers me that Bush is messing around with low income children who frankly don't deserve it.

What do you all think?

1. Our candidates should latch onto this

and talk about it every day. Norquists' admission that the GOP wants to disband the Federal Government could really be a good thing for us if our guys run with it. Besides Headstart there's the SBA, and SSA, and the veterans' benefits, and myriad other wonderful programs that have benefitted millions.
