BBV: Florida Election Supervisors Take a Stand on DREs
Read this to find out how pro-DRE forces plan to push DREs and argue against voter verified paper ballots. They will argue that DREs store ballot images that are better than paper, they will talk about paper receipts that dispruptive voters could use to claim fraud, they will push the issue of vision impaired voters and other groups, they will claim paranoia by those opposed to these machines...

1. I have tried to find the "Issue Paper"
by the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections. Has anyone come across this?

3. What a crock!
Florida has shown the world they don't have a damn clue when it comes to voting after royally *cough* intentionally *cough* screwing up the 2000 presidential election.

They are about as reliable as Enron is on the matter of electricity rates.

4. This is an uphill battle
The Florida position on DREs can sound quite reasonable to the uninformed. We can count on this kind of message being the dominant one and it's possible we are beyond the point of no return.
