just watched o'really factor. |

I need a shower. could only watch for five minutes. Was complaining about liberals engaging in the politics of personal destruction, and how Franken was evil.
I realized their are only two mass media conservatives I respect. They are
1) Lou Dobbs- Obviously I disagree with him, but he does seem to put the country ahead of the Republican party. He will often criticize the administration for not treating soldiers right etc. His right wing economic stuff is really heartfelt, eg he really believes it is in the best interest of most americans.
2) Pat Buchanen- Yes, he is a xenophobe, but he is consistant, and again, I think he places love of country over party. Agree with him on trade, and in his opposition to neocon foreign policy. Disagree with him on everything else.
I can't think of even one good thing to say about any other conservative in the media.

2. You Missed The Best Part....... |
|
You should have watched the Richard Walter segment.
Mr. Walter said Kill Bill and the texas chainsaw massacre were great movies, then O'Reilly told him he was out of his mind, then he gave Mr. Walter 20 seconds and the last word.
Mr. Walter ripped him to shreads, he told O'Reilly what he wanted was basically censorship, and that he hates americans because he called anyone who would see kill bill and the texas chainsaw massacre fools.
He also called O'Reilly a Totalitarian and a few other choice words.
Basically O'Reilly wants to censor movies and rap etc. He uses the children excuse to justify it, how about blaming the parents, or the movie theater for letting kids see an R-Rated movie.
If anyone has a transcript of this interview please post it.
The guy hammered O'Reilly, he also called him a hypocrite, it was great.
The best part was O'Reilly could not reply to him because the computer went to a hard commercial break. BTW, Mr. Walter is the professor at UCLA who teaches screen writing classes. One of his students wrote the texas chainsaw massacre movie script.

*hated* America, despised American audiences, and thought Americans that didn't agree with him were fools.

He's worth reading for an honest conservative point of view. All except for Israel and Jewish people -- his antagonism toward Israel is his way of proving to the world that he's a Dangerous Thinker™.
Personally, I disagree with almost everything he writes, but it's interesting to see how conservatives oppose the neo-con fever dream.

5. I don't like Buchanan's anti-semitism and racist |

beliefs, but when he started to seem moderate compared to the wierdo conservatives we now have over us, I knew something was really wrong.
