Regarding the fires in Southern California. Where's Bush? |
|
I live in Oregon, and every time we have a fire here it seems to be conveniently timed to a Bush visit where he is promoting his "healthy forest" initiative. Healthy forests is much like every other backward label from the mis-administration "clear skies" etc.. By Healthy forests they mean, logged and trampled forests that are far from healthy and nothing but a give away to freeper logging companies.
Southern California is on fire again, but where is Bush? Why isn't he down there coming up with some brilliant "healthy desserts" initiative? Why don't we propose to clear the dessert of all of it's brush?
What? You say that it would be a stupid idea? No more stupid than the "healthy forest" initiative.

2. He's A.W.O.L., & So Is His Whole Mal-administration |
|
All through this wretched period, at different points the question has come up: "Where's (Shrub, CHENEE, POWELL, RIDGE, et al.-----insert the applicable name here)?"
When the blackout happened, the Energy Secretary was literally asleep at the wheel (traveling in Britain, time zone). A couple of weeks ago, when the student broke airport security, the dude in charge (TSA? or whatever) was flat-footed.
Another question might be: "Where's the crack, investigative MEDIA?" They certainly are great about banging their drum when THEY are threatened, demanding that we support THEM.

3. Actually, it's worse than that. |
|
Sometime this summer, I believe July, 'Busch' was planning to come to Oregon to make a speech about the proposed "healthy" forest initiative (lumber companies go wink wink, nod nod).
He was supposed to make a speech in Central Oregon. Two days before his arrival, two mysterious fires started burning in the EXACT spot where Bushbaby was going to make his speech. He was forced to cancel the speech. The authorities suspected arson. Some believed it was an attempt to prove his point about clear cutting, and others believed it was just their way of kaboshing his plans.
Either way, those two blazes merged and became the very destructive B&B Complex Fire, which destroyed over 15,000 acres.
What a man. Causes destruction wherever he goes.

6. It was a very convenient set of circumstances. |
|
And the local authorities have given no real explanations for those fires. I believe that they were set by freepers.

He's busy fighting terrists. Iraq is full of them. And he's had a very busy week fighting protesters as well. Him and Pickles are probably taking a nap right now.

5. He's smirking smugly and saying, "I told you so" |

If we'd have cut those trees down, then they wouldn't be burning right now would they?

8. That's right, and with that same lack of reasoning. |
|
There should be a scrub removal initiative for Bush's "healthy deserts" program. The whole south west needs to be scrubed.
Please note the sarcasm.

...he's waiting for Ahnold to request disaster relief so Herr Guffernore can show us how his Washington connections will benefit Collie-fornya.

"resting". After all, he's been to six countries in six days, and he doesn't like to be away from home. I bet right now he's lying on the couch and Condi's making him a peanut butter sandwich. I wish she's give him pretzels, too.
