QUESTION: Mr. President, others in your administration have said that your words on Iraq and Africa did not belong in your State of the Union address. Will you take responsibility -- personal responsibility for those words?

I actually was holding my breath when the reporter asked this question. My first thought was, Oh, this is how all the controversy will end, Bush will say yes, I take responsibility, I make the final decisions, and it was my mistake to include this in the speech. I'm sorry but hey Saddam is a bad guy......yada, yada, yada.....

But noooooooooo, no apology, no stand up guy taking responsibility, just side stepping the question, and stumbling through with a weak response.
