Cheney BOMBSHELL
Why would a domestic energy taskforce be looking at Iraqi oilfield maps in March of 2001???????????????????????????????????

This cannot go unanswered. I hope someone in Congress gets this information.

Guess who met with the National Energy Taskforce on July 26, 2001?

Tom Hash, President, Bechtel National

3. repukes are not going to investigate repukes
otherwise more time and money would have been spent on 9-11. it'll have to come from aggresive dems who spill what they learn and force the media's hand.

6. I don't know
I mean they won't want to, but if enough stories start coming out, they won't want to look bad by protecting him. So a number of republican senators will be willing to investigate, if not impeach.

7. well then
I say that WE need to take the Congress back and put some folks in charge who WILL serve the PEOPLE of the US. Screw the ultra right wing republicans who dissemble and preach and screw the spineless democrats who sit on their fannies whining. Perhaps a good old fashioned house-cleaning from top to bottom is in order. I mean, if they can recall Davis in CA why can't we start a drive to recall every last one of the bastards who is so latched on to the corporate tit they forget who they are SUPPOSED to be working for......
It's time the American public got off the couch and answered the "Bring it On" challenge with one of our own.....

25. Cheney will resign and Bush will appoint Powell VP
The Senate will easily confirm him, then Bush will soon step down. The 9-11 investigation is then stonewalled by Powell, while the U.S. keeps the Iraqi oil, the Patriot Act, the TIA, and all the rest.

FILIBUSTER POWELL'S VP NOMINATION (Otherwise we will be running against the second Black President in US history --Big Dog was the first)

IMAGINE PRESIDENT KERRY!!!

2. Bu$h quote , when announcing the "Energy Task Force"
said on Januray 29, 2001:

"The task force that is being assembled will not only deal with the very short-run issue dealing with the West, but, obviously, the longer-term issues that will be confronting our country for a while unless we're willing to act boldly and swiftly which we will do."

You mean, your obsession with Saddaam and Iraqi oil???

sort of sounds like it......acting swiftly and decisively to liberate the oilfields from Saddam Hussein. George will go down in history not only as the stupidest American president but as the one who finally topped Nixon in lies, deceit and chicanery.....
WELL DONE, GEORGE, you FINALLY succeeded at SOMETHING -- you lying sack of shit.

5. They would be looking at the world reserves
I don't see what's so bad about that. Surely a national review would include how much oil is left in the world and its availability as well as other such matters.

I just don't see any smoking gun here.

9. See where the trail leads....
The documents and decisions made based on these maps are being closely guarded.

What do they have to hide?

Where there's smoke, there's often fire.

At the very LEAST, this should open an investigation into the corrupt taskforce.

I still think this is smoking.

Hee hee hee. I'm sure that wasn't meant to be funny but under the circumstances.....I wonder if Cheney marked them off in order of "availability" with Iraq as "1" and maybe Iran as "2" and so on......

37. since we're writing their constitution, let's allow dual citizenship
Then we can give Dick and Kenny Boy and the rest of the thugs Iraqi citizenship and truly, the oil will belong to "Iraqis". They can then trample along with their customary impunity and reap away...

Simple, really.

22. Where are the maps
for Mexico and South America, Russia adn ANWR, the North Sea, North Africa, Nigeria, Southeast Asia? Yeah, if you're looking at "world" oil reserves, that's one thing, if you are focusing in on your target of conquest, that's something else. And, of course, Iraq was under sanctions in March 2001, and so was not subject to our acquisition - at least legally. This may not be "incontrovertible proof", but it is more than enough for a grand jury to issue subpoenas.

26. I'm sure maps of Mexico,Venezuela,Russia,Canada,China, etc. were there
as well. Somehow I doubt it. They were aimed at Iraq before the election and are scared shitless that they will be found out. I think it is going to turn out to be much more than a smoking gun. It will be the equivelent of the dead body being found.

28. The Dems in the Senate need to be SCREAMING about this-
You have to strike while the iron is HOT-
push HARD for the info they wanted on the "Energy Task Force" meetings that Cheney held.
If the Dems don't PUSH, we don't deserve to be involved with the governing of the people.
If something isn't done...and soon, I don't see how I'll be able to support the party anymore.

29. Part II: Production Sharing
Look at this map carefully:
http://www.judicialwatch.org/IraqOilMap.pdf

The BOMBSHELL, IMO, is that in the key, it says "Earmarked for production sharing"

This language is NOT in the UAE or Saudi maps.

Earmarked by whom??? Why is the US DOMESTIC Energy taskforce earmarking Iraqi oil pipelines in March of 2001? What does this mean?

Then read this Reuters article from April 5, 2003:

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/030405/80/dx3dy.html

Post-war role agreed for oil majors

LONDON (Reuters) - Iraqi exiles and senior U.S. officials have agreed that international oil companies should take a leading post-war role in reviving Iraq's oil industry, delegates to a policy meeting say.
(cut)

Foreign investment deals, most likely production-sharing contracts, with a fully-fledged Iraqi government could come in between six months and two years time, he said.

(cut)

Production-sharing is the type of deal favoured by the oil industry because it guarantees companies a healthy profit margin, even at low world oil prices. Alternative royalty schemes are weighted towards government revenues and can penalise investors at low prices.

_____

This IS a Bombshell, in my opinion. Who attended these meetings?

OIL INDUSTRY heavyweights.

Don't forget that the 2000 Republican Platform stated, "We will react forcefully and unequivocally to any evidence of reconstituted Iraqi capabilities for producing weapons of mass destruction." Since Bush & Co. knew we'd get there soon, why wouldn't Cheney's Taskforce have worked on dividing the 'spoils'?
