you're thinking of the progressive policy institute.

and don't knock the third way entirely. some of those ideas are good and are NOT GOP-lite, but the problem is when the DLC DOMINATES Democratic discussion.

the CAP institute has two purposes at least initially: (1) to wage the Dem media campaign, which is good; and (2) to come up with progressive ideas, to serve as an intellectual incubator.
