There's a Right To Life March outside my office !! |
|
Edited on Fri Jul-18-03 09:20 AM by NYYFan
Background: I work for a doctor. Our office is at the end of a 3 building complex. The doctor in the middle is a podiatrist. The doctor being protested is an OBGYN.
Now, what he does in his office- I have no idea.
Anyhoo, my boss is on vacation, so I'm here casual, cleaning and doing various and sundry things. When I arrived at 8:30- nothing. 9:00- nothing. About 9:30, I came up front, and saw lots of policemen. Then I look further, and see about 20-30 protestors with signs and guitars, and children, standing near the OBGYN's office on the street.
When I stuck my head out to find out what was going on, I was instantly asked questions about the OBGYN. I said nothing, closed the door and locked it.
Why, oh why does this stuff always happen when my boss is out of town ???!!!
On edit: Forgot to mention, the area of town I work in is predominately African-American. The protestors are all White. Most of them wouldn't come to this side of town to buy a cup of coffee, but now all of a sudden, they can protest ???!!

Id ignore them ..or put pictures, in the office window, for them to see, of dead Iraqi children....most of these yahoos support Bush anyway, ergo, they support the death of thousands of children in Iraq http://www.robert-fisk.com/iraqwarvictims_mar2003.htm
