2. Wonder if they'll ask him about OKing bombing journalists |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 11:11 AM by TLM
or about his being a lobbyist for Kissinger.
THey'll probably just give him another corporate media handjob... and the worst thing they'll ask him about is his flip flop on the war.
Why is the media giving Clark such a pass on war crimes in Kosovo and his working for Kissigner and with Carlucci?
Maybe they want to save those in case Clark makes it to the general election.

when we have this happen regarding one or the other candidate, someone could quickly post the bookmarked link of the discussion where the comments/accusations were debunked.
I am undecided on the DEM candidates, but I really don't like the same old debunked propaganda being raised time and time again about any of the candidates. A quick retort with links would eventually put a stop to it, I think... or at least help.
I too, find it very irritating. Those of us with strong convictions about one candidate versus another should be able to debate their relative merits without falling back on Repug-supplied talking points.

7. I used to up until recently... |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 11:30 AM by wyldwolf
... until I (and others) realized it was the same small group posting the crap over and over.
It has now become obvious they don't really believe it themselves but are using the myths as a tool to further their own candidate.
He is the summary:
The TV station was classified as duel use facility - a legal military target. RTS was being used as radio relay stations and transmitters to support the activities of the FRY military and special police forces.
Clark was an advisor on a board where Kissinger was also a member. Kissinger was NOT the owner of the company of even the CEO (Democrat Sam Nunn was.) So Clark didn't do ANYTHING for Kissinger.

9. Probably so, but as you say... there are newbies coming through |
|
all the time, who might be taken in by this kind of stuff being thrown out and not answered.

6. It would makes sense for TLM to bookmark the threads... |
|
...so whenever he wants to throw those lies around again, he can look back and say, "oh, yeah, these aren't true and there are enough DU'ers wise to it that they will call me on them and embarass me."
I would suggest TLM start a mailing list for other Clark detractors so he doesn't have to be bothered by things like facts.

8. My point is that I'm seeing the same tactic done for multiple |
|
candidates. With respect to Clark, I certainly have seen others throwing this stuff out. And, I've certainly seen similar thrown out about Dean and Kerry. Counter inaccurate information quickly and decisively, and it tends to die quickly, is my point.

11. I see your point BUT... |
|
It doesn't die quicly. These threads grow to several hundred posts of people TRYING to prove that Clark did these things. They often actually rely upon the words of Milosevic!
Then, a few days later, the same people throw it up again.
He is the summary:

17. Why ask the questions |
|
when you wouldn't believe the answers anyway? You'd much rather assume the worst and treat it as absolute irrefutable fact.
Obviously you don't really care about Clark addressing anything you've mentioned you believe he's a Republican and that his every word and action are lies - except when they support your theory that he's a RNC plant.
I don't know what's worse. The fact that you try to hijack just about every pro-Clark thread with your accusations and refuse to acknowledge any refutation of them, or the fact that you can state with a clear conscience that, should Clark be nominated, you'd rather see another four years of Bush than vote for Clark. That's proof positive that you're not making these statements out of any genuine concern - you're just trying to drum up anti-Clark sentiment, and will continue to do so until you - like a spoiled child - get what you want, which is a Dean nomination.
I never had much problem with Dean, and wouldn't have any qualms about voting for him. But some of his supporters make me sick.

14. Actually, they're the extreme opposite when it comes to Clark.. |
|
..they're very far left and believers in most conspiracy theories - no matter what source they're from.
Saying you're going to keep an eye on them will just feed their goal of proving everything is a conspiracy to get them.
Watch...
