http://www.billoreilly.com/If the CBS miniseries about former President Ronald Reagan treats him badly, will you boycott CBS and its sponsors?

1. I don't unreep, I don't DU polls |
|
I don't like it.
I would rather see the FReepers take a poll and send it into the realm of fantasy.
Let them take the poll out of control until they get 98% showing that they agree with them.
Then people will notice what a joke polls are.

9. Let me put it this way |
|
My main concern with attempting to counter FReeped polls is that it makes their freeping look more legitimate.
If you have everyone here vote, you still won't get their numbers below 60%. The reason is, they take polls and vote repeatedly, clearing their cookies so they can vote again and again.
If they are freeping, and the poll is skewed beyond belief, then its easy to send an email to whoever hosts the poll with a link to the freeper thread.
I have done this in the past, as have others, and have gotten a few polls pulled because the website saw that their poll was being skewed by, in my words, "a radical, right wing fringe group".
Plus, now you can classify them as a hate group.

It's quite simple.
Got to Freeperland, search "freep poll" Copy link Go to freeper target, mail link
You're wasting your time trying to counter them. Let the editors/webmasters of the targeted site see what's going on.

It takes only a click, currently there are approx. 15,000 votes, let's see if we can add a quick 15,000 votes from DU!

5. Not to put a damper on... |
|
...but that poll is un-freepable. Over 15,000 'idjuts' have voted, and it's currently 92% to 8% freeped. Half of DU's membership would have to vote in order to get to 50/50.
That said, let's see how much we can get those percentages to move! Sadly, I predict a no more than 2% bump for the good guys...

Is this kind of idiocy going to prevent the broadcast of the movie? Might CBS back down?

But yunno, I don't believe that the freepsters will boycott CBS. As soon as their favorite program is on, they'll watch it no matter what's in the mini series. So, it's all about B.O. in the short term.
I can't wait till the inevitable happens. Like for instance, his wife dumps is overbearing ass and writes her own book. Oh, yeah.
Edited fer me spellin'.

There was a report last night that stated the President of CBS (forget his name) was considering "re-editing" the series because of the "pressure"... it's O'Reilly and his companions that ARE that pressure... we need to unite against this, even if it is a silly poll. If we can't make enough effort to click on a link, how do we expect to elect a new President!

Wouldn't it be nice to know that you could be confident that CBS wouldn't take this idiot seriously! Ronald Reagan doesn't deserve sainthood. Let's cover history to appease the right wing lunatics. If they back down to O'Lielly, I will ban CBS.
