Bush at 55 percent in CNN poll! |
|
and the number who say it's very likely they'll vote for him is just 33 percent compared to 36 percent who say it's very unlikely they'll vote for him! Overall, if you add the Bush hardcore support and leaners it's 50 percent; those against him or leaning that way is 46 percent. Wow!

What kind of poll was this? Random telephone? Of likely voters? Or online?

6. The CNN Time poll is adults |

Zogby is likely voters. In a way, it's like comparing apples and oranges but I still think it's revealing that his numbers are dropping across the board, in all types of polls.

4. I think 2004 will be very close |

like in 2000. The one thing still keeping Bush somewhat afloat is the near unanimous approval he gets from Republicans. In poll after poll he is approved by over 90% of the GOP, where his dad had serious slippage among Republicans which is why Pat Buchanan challenged him in the primaries and Ross Perot emerged. If we can get Bush under 85% of GOP support then he will lose.

I assume they would be the last group to show a decline in support.
