There won't be another terrorist attack when Bush's ratings drop |
|
It won't work for him this time. Now people will blame him for not preventing it. The Dem candidate will walk over him talking about how after 9/11 he couldn't prevent another attack and he's ineffecient at national security. It might give him a minor boost at first, but it'll hurt him big time in the long run.
Don't worry. Bush won't LIHOP or MIHOP again. It could just work against him far too much.

1. there is a possible, frightening, loophole.. |

I agree that if another LIHOP takes place, I know at least MY rallying cry will be "Bush failed to protect us"... however, I suppose if the LIHOP is horrendous enough, they can declare martial law and ship me down to Guantanim for saying it! :scared:
then it won't be a matter of convincing the public, but controlling
would still be the end of them, IMHO, but they would be able to hang on for a little while, as we start disappearing....
I fear martial law is ALL they have left at this point!

2. No, just probably a lot of "near misses...." |
|
so that Bushies can claim credit for stopping, and the public can remain scared.
