Why aren't conservatives praising complaining soldiers as patriots?
During the Clinton Administration whenever a uniformed military person attacked the administration they were hailed as great heroes and patriots by right wing think tanks and radio talk show hosts. Whether it was that general who called Clinton a "skirt chaser", or that kid who refused to wear the UN patch in Bosnia, they were all hailed for their courage and patriotism in attacking their commander in chief. Now it seems, under a new administration, such soldiers must be punished and taught a lesson. Evidently, some people believe that the military should be an extension of the Republican National Committee.

2. because soldiers are supposed to kill women and children and LOVE it.
that would be the reducto ad absurdum of
their argument. If soldiers are feeling betrayed and questioning the war, then they should have the right to do so. Embedded reporters are only supposed to catch the guys saying , "BOOHYAH...kill me some Saddam!"?

THey don't care about these guys. THere's a reason people get called "Pawns". They are the expendable little guy for the overall strategy of the king and his minions. They are going from being a tool of the government to being an annoyance. That is what happened with Saddam. He went from favorable employee to getting his pink slip.
