GOP Team Leader 7/18/03 - TOO FUNNY TO MISS!
Edited on Fri Jul-18-03 07:58 PM by papau
GOP Team Leader 7/18/03 from From Ed Gillespie, RNC

1. RNC SAYS "For years the world has agreed that Saddam Hussein possessed and used weapons of mass destruction and repeatedly defied the world's demands to disarm. Now, leading Democrats are trying to raise money and score political points by denying this universal claim and attacking our president." AND THEN SUBJECT CHANGE FROM WMD TO NOT NICE GUY "Why Saddam Hussein Was a Grave and Gathering Danger -President Bush promised the American people that he would not stand idly while dangers gathered abroad. Saddam Hussein’s regime was a grave and gathering threat that the U.S. and our allies could not afford to ignore. “Given Saddam's history of violence and aggression, it would have been reckless to place our trust in his sanity or his restraint. As long as I hold this office, I will never risk the lives of American citizens by assuming the goodwill of dangerous enemies."

2. BESIDES- DEMS SUPPORTED _IGNORING FACT DEMES SUPPORT DEPENDED ON BUSH LIES "Bob Graham who just this week tried to score political points by calling for the President's impeachment said months ago "We are in possession of what I think to be compelling evidence that Saddam Hussein has, and has had for a number of years, a developing capacity for the production and storage of weapons of mass destruction." (Face The Nation, 12/08/02), and John Kerry who complained there were insufficient resources for our soldiers in Iraq, voted to slash $2.6 billion in intelligence funding and at least $50 billion in defense spending (and that's just scratching the surface)."

3. BUDGET DEFICITS WILL DESTROY AMERICA - BUT ANY CALL FOR FISCAL SANITY ABOUT TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH IS TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE CONFUSED "Graham Gets Confused on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Appearance Sunday …. Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL) attacked President Bush for not having a balanced budget during a time of war..."

4. USE DEM WORDS AGAINST THEM "Asked about the fact that Edwards doesn't have a single piece of major legislation to claim as his own in the Senate, Palmieri was ready for that, too.'What's John Kerry have?' she asked about Kerry, a veteran Massachusetts senator who is also running for the Democratic nomination."

5. IGNORE FLIGHT SUIT PHOTO OP AND 9/11/04 GOP CONVENTION -"Call Talk Radio And Ask Why Democrats Are Politicizing Security Issues"

6. IGNORE JOB LOSSES -SAY "nation's retail Sales Rise In June by 0.5 percent - Beating Commerce Department 0.4 percent Expectations

7. AND JOKE OF THE DAY - USE PAYPAL OR SEND CHECK SO AS TO SEND APPLIANCES TO IRAQ - A PLACE WITH ALMOST NO ELECTRICITY "What else can I do to help President Bush's Agenda as a Team Leader? ----Operation: "Air Conditioner" - -Sending Air Conditioners to the Troops in Iraq. Each AC unit is $85.00 and it costs $35.00 for insurance and shipping so total cost for each one is $120.00. You can mail the checks to: Operation Air Conditioner 560 Peoples Plaza"

1. Operation Air Conditioner sounds like a scam to me
"What else can I do to help the President's agenda? Give me a check for 120 bucks and I'll send our troups an air conditioner. And if I get enough cash, there's this nice bridge in Brooklyn that I think they'd just love."
