Poll question: What Question Should I Ask General Clark Tomorrow?
I'm meeting General Clark tomorrow, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions (although I'll probably only get one, at most).

3. Jobs off-shore will kill the economy.
The only way Bush's big business friends are able to make money without stealing from 401ks and retirement funds is to send jobs off shore. There will be not trickle down if there are no jobs.

Tell Gen. Clark he's got my support!

Also tell him to get his staff to watch the DU to get another view of the pulse of democrats.

4. The Pulse of the Far Left, Maybe
DU is hardly representative of the Democratic Party, much less America as a whole. In three recent polls garnering hundreds of responses each, nearly 60% of respondents believed that Paul Wellstone's death was "planned and executed by the Bush Administration or by someone who wanted to see Wellstone dead"; a majority of respondents were self-described socialists; and nearly 40% of respondents were self-described "radical progressives" supporting a complete overhaul of America's government and/or economic system.

Ask him where my 20 bucks is. Don't loan the dude money, he'll try to start WW3 to get out of paying you back.

6. I voted for H1B
but really there are so many questions. I mean, what does he see as the future of Star Wars, and does he support the insane policy of deployment prior to testing? (Dick Cheney's brain child)

Here is what may seem a shallow one, but it bugs me. What color are his eyes? Just pm me if you would. And have a wonderful time.

23. interesting, but it did not answer the question.
i want to know WHY he wants to be president, not WHAT he will do as president.

these are completely different inflections on the man and what he represents.

26. You must not have watched....
because he says in the interview, in specific, that he wants to be President because the country is in the biggest mess ever and he can't take it!... that's why. Guess it's called "Call of Duty" to a man who swore to protect his country against harm...
harm, i.e., George Bush's Presidency.

29. I thought McCain's response was very appropriate
He said that he felt much safer as a POW in Vietnam knowing that Bush was protecting Texas from a Vietcong attack, or something to that effect.

I don't agree with McCain much, but that's a great response.

Ask him to look into it, and speak out about it. Without this becoming a major issue PRIOR to the next election, we are doomed.

ask him what he will do about cutbacks to entitlements.... Section 8 housing, disability, Medicaid, etc. None of the candidates seem willing to even think about it, let alone state a position. There are many, many deaths looming on the horizon....

32. Global Warming and
the environment are of most concern to me especially after 4 years of a chimp who doesn't believe that global warming even exists. I would like to know that Clark is aware of the threat that global warming is to everyone on this Earth and if he would support something like the Kyoto Accords.

well, that's what I'd like to ask him.

But the H1B visas and job exports is also a good 'un.

34. I Don't Have a Cite or Link for You
But he's already stated he'd be willing to cut the defense budget (up to 25%, mostly from the Air Force) to help balance the budget and increase spending in other areas. He called the Pentagon a "want machine" and said you needed to stop feeding it.
