Does Rummy have Alzheimer's?
Not only has Rummy lost his mojo, but I think he's lost his mind. That's what comes of years of lying and Orwellian thinking. These clowns are such an embarassment!

In yesterday's gaffe, Mr Rumsfeld answered a question from a journalist on warlords in Afghanistan by talking about Kurdish peshmerga fighters in Iraq until it was pointed out that that was a different country.

"Oh, I'm sorry ... I was thinking of Iraq. No wonder I couldn't understand it," he explained.

He did however concede with a chuckle that the two countries were "close".

1. No....
it's just that when you lie constantly, it tends to get very confusing.

2. I tried to figure this guy out
a few months ago, and I just gave up. Did a little research on the Internet. The more I found out, the scarier he became. I'll just summarize it by saying that this is a very vain man, filled with egocentricities.

He considers himself a Renaissance Man. He can do everything, including plan military adventures and knowingly sentence people to their deaths, all the while concocting poetry with a feather plume pen. Lovely little sonnets, to fill the air with charm.

And yet, I saw his photo on a thread last week here at the DU. My blood ran cold. He looked so sinister, he reminded me of Anthony Perkins in Silence of the Lambs.

I'll try to find it and post it here. Scary, man.

(That's when you grow too old and forget you're a nazi.)

Ah, the eighties...
