Which candidate will use the "uniter not a divider" against Bush? How? |

Which candidate will use the "uniter not a divider" against Bush? How?
This was one of the hypocritical themes used by Rove against Gore. Gore ran a populist campaign, which was characterized as divisive by Rove. Rove made Bush to be a unifying "hero" above politics. Ironic, since Republican party operatives contributed greatly to the partisan divide they were railing against by their anti-Clinton behavior.
I think it's time to finally call them on it. Can it be used against them? How can it be done?

2. I believe one of Rove's themes will be to paint the nominee as a divider. |

Believe it or not, my guess it that they will use this theme again against the nominee. Every criticism against Bush will be used to paint the nominee as a divider.
This is one way that Rove will use our candidate's own strengths against them.
