You think that the woman and two kids who rammed into the
arena where Bush was is the wife of one of our GIs who lost it? Sometimes that happens...

7. Where did you get the privy info to make that inferrence?
I live here, and I don't know enough about the incident to make that judgement.

It surely appears to be intentional from what I know...both from public and private sources.

Sorry about the comment.
If it angered some of our thin skinned liberal brethern and sistern.

You guys worry too much about what the freepers will think.

I hate the shrub a lot. I'm a shrub hater.

I've been angry since November 2000 and the anger just grows and grows with each regressive thing that this admin does.

10. I don't give a shit WHAT the freeps think...
I am disturbed by one of DU's own advocating a mother killing her two children.

And I am equally disturbed that you paint my disdain in the light of me being an oversensitive, "thin skinned" liberal.

I am a MOTHER, and I am offended that you would advocate killing children. You can supposedly hate bush all you want, but when you suggest that a mother should kill her own children to harm bush, then you have crossed a line, and it has NOTHING to do with me being oversensitive.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY THINK about what you post next time, and when you screw up, just admit it instead of blaming our offense on us being too sensitive.

11. I wasn't advocating anything of the sort
And I wasn't the one driving the car.
You inferred that I was advocating a mother hurting her kids while driving into a building.
You should save your anger for the woman driving the car.
My attempt at humor failed. I still think that you are too sensitive.

14. In your message that is now deleted, you said that you wish that...
it would have been a car bomb. Considering that the article stated that the woman had two children in the car with her, how can you wish that and not know that it would also kill her passengers.

I am not too sensitive. And, remember, it was YOUR post, NOT MINE, that was deleted. Hmmm...that ought to tell you that you need to temper your so-called "humour" in the future.

16. I'm confused.
Edited on Sat Nov-01-03 06:45 PM by truth2power
How did you get "advocating a mother killing her two children." from what lindashaw said? She said, "You think....?" It was a question. If you advocate something it's usually grammatically constructed in the form of a statement. As in, "I advocate. . . " or "I believe..."

Just asking..

edit: I didn't scroll down. Apparently there was another post. My question above, regarding the initial post stands, however.

17. You are confused because you missed stimbox's deleted post
My responses were to STIMBOX, not to linda. And, as you can see, I was not the only DUer who thought his remark was offensive. The mods removed his offending post, in which he said that it was too bad that the vehicle carrying the woman and children wasn't a carbomb.

I repeat, you are coming into this discussion late. You missed the deleted post. Follow the thread and perhaps you will have a better understanding of this discussion.
