Poll question: Poll: Would You Consider Switching Candidates at the Last Minute? |
|
This is the first poll I've ever created here. - It's time for some honesty.
Let's say that your candidate is Candidate X. You've supported Candidate X for a long time. Maybe you've gone to a few campaign events, put a bumper sticker on your vehicle and/or a sign on your lawn, or given a little bit of money that you could. You plan on voting for this person when your state's primary/caucus comes around.
On the night before your state's vote, you see two new polls released (and let's assume that the polls are from reputable sources). They show that your candidate is about 8% behind Bush - he/she could conceivably win with a good campaign and a bit of economic luck. Meanwhile, those same polls show that Candidate Y is statistically tied with Bush in both polls - slightly ahead in one and slightly behind in another, but a seemingly better chance at beating Bush.
What do you do in the voting booth? Please be honest.

1. I would stick with my candidate |
|
Because I have my reasons to support that candidate.
I do not trust polls, and I never will.
